If you encounter an issue or you notice that any devices in the AV system are broken, contact the IT helpdesk as soon as possible via email: helpdesk@lut.fi

Keep in mind that you are not allowed to touch the AV system cables, except the ones that you connect to your laptop (HDMI/USB), without explicit permission

1. Start the AV system by touching the touch panel

After touching the screen please let the projector start completely

2. Connect the HDMI and USB-A cable to a PC

3. Choose the source device

[LAPTOP 1] = HDMI 1

[LAPTOP 2] = HDMI 2

[ClickShare] = wireless presentation, use button dongle with built-in USB-A port

Document cameras are not included in the N73 AV system.

  • From the “Source” section you can select [LAPTOP 1] or one of the other options.

    • Please make sure the cable is connected to the computer (HDMI/USB-A/USB-C).

  • From the “Projector” section you can select [PROJECTOR 1], the button will display the source after the selection. Combined and some other classrooms will have more projector options, for example: [PROJECTOR 2].

    • [VIDEO MUTE] button will make the displaying projector screen black, press the button again to undo.

    • [FREEZE] button will freeze the picture, press the button again to undo.

4. Audio control

you can reach the audio control screen by pressing the [Audio Control] button on the main screen

  • Program controls the computer audio volume.

  • MIC controls the microphone volume or sensitivity.

  • AUX controls the auxiliary volume (Blue-ray or other devices).

  • VTC (Video Teleconferencing) controls the volume of video calls or streams, when active and supported by the computer.

  • [Close] button returns you to the main screen

5. Camera control

  • Zoom = the two buttons on the top (- and + inside the magnifying glass icon)

  • Camera control = the cross buttons with the home icon at the center

    • direction controls from the cross buttons

    • home icon at the center will return the camera to the default position

  • Presets 1-4 = by pressing a preset button for 3 seconds you can make a new preset for the camera positions

6. Quick help

You can reach the “Quick help” screen by pressing the [Help] button on the main screen

You can view instructions at any time by viewing the “Quick help” screen

7. How to power off the AV system

Please power off the AV system properly

You can power off the AV system by pressing the [Power Off] button

After pressing the [Power Off] button you will be shown the prompt for the system shut down

  • [YES] will shut down the system

  • [NO] will cancel the shutdown

As a failsafe, the system will automatically shutdown after 20 seconds after pressing the [Power Off] button

Let the system shut down properly before attempting anything else

After pressing [YES] or waiting for 20 seconds the system will begin the shutdown protocol and you will be shown the following message:

Additional information and troubleshooting

The system has an automatic daily restart at 22.00 (10 p.m.) which cannot be interrupted

You will see the following screen if the touch panel has no connection to the AV system

Someone may have unplugged a cable or reinserted a cable to the wrong port, which no one but the AV maintenance personnel are allowed to do
